Hushe Valley and Humbroq Trekking, Gilgit-Baltistan Humbroq trek khaplu hushe gilgit baltistan (7)

The administrative capital of Ghangche District of Gilgit-Baltistan, “Khaplu” is comprised of one of the beautiful places of pakistan namely

  • Hushe (The last village of the above mentioned Ghangche district of Gilgit-Baltistan).
  • Humbroq (A pasture, where the local residents bring their animals, such as cattle, sheep and cows for grazing purposes in the month of June, July and August).

Hushe is the highest village in the valley. It has the most famous “Laila Peak” which near Gondogoro glacier in Karakoram range and is 6,096 metres (20,000 ft) high according to Wikipedia.

Humbroq is 3 hours and 3 stages far from the Hushe valley and is an open zone. It means that you can go there WITHOUT A PERMIT. Once you’re on top of humbroq, you can easily see the following peaks:

  1. K2
  2. G I
  3. GII
  4. Broad peak
All of them are above 8000 metres.
